Hubungan Media Sosial Dan Peran Orang Tua Dengan Perilaku Remaja Yang Mengarah Kepada Seks Bebas DI SMA Negeri 3 Kota Langsa

Abstract

Free sex has reached an alarming level because it can cause damage to youth morale. Behaviors that lead to casual sex start from dating, making out, holding hands, hugging, cuddling, kissing as well as the trend of video call sex. The rise of free sex behavior by teenagers can be influenced by factors such as the use of social media and the lack of role of parents in accompanying and supervising. Determine the relationship between the use of social media and the role of parents with the behavior towards free sex. Analytical research method with cross sectional design. The population were all students in class X and XI SMA Negeri 3 Langsa City 342. The sample were 220, using the sampling technique, namely Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. The results show that There are a relationship between the use of social media and role of parents behavior that leads to free sex with each a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). Reproductive health education programs are needed for adolescents and parents by collaboratng with relevant agencies to increase awareness of the dangers of sexual behavior.
