Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Perilaku Penggunaan Vapor Di Kalangan Siswa Di Smk Negeri 2 Langsa

Abstract

The use of vapor among teenagers is increasing because vapor is considered safer and more stylish and has a smoking sensation like conventional cigarettes. In fact, vapor can have adverse effects on health. This study aims to determine the factors related to vapor use behavior among students at SMK Negeri 2 Langsa. This research design uses a cross-sectional analytic type. The results of the study showed that out of 91 respondents, some of them implemented heavy vapor use behavior, as many as 46 respondents (50.5%). There is a relationship between peers and vapor use behavior among students of SMK Negeri 2 Langsa with a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), There is no relationship between family environment and vapor use behavior among students of SMK Negeri 2 Langsa with a p-value of 0.593 (p>0.05) and there is a relationship between advertising exposure and vapor use behavior among students of SMK Negeri 2 Langsa with a p-value of 0.003 (p<0.05).
